I came across this teepee on the lakefront of Milwaukee during the Indian Summer Festival. These men were keeping the fire for a prayer for the people. I was struck by the contrasting images- the bridge in the background and the teepee in the front, and also the two fires burning- the sacred fire of prayer and the smokestack
